Wild boar, though a relative of the domestic pig, but very different from it in many features. His body is strong, up to 175 cm the Neck is short, muscular, his head is large, wedge-shaped elongated forward, with a long, wide ears, small eyes and "nose" on the end of the snout. Adult wild boar an important tool as the attacks and protection are formidable triangular fangs on the lower jaws. The fangs sticking upwards, can be up to 10 cm in length. On the upper jaw they are more weak and stupid. The front part of the body is relatively high, the legs are short. The rear part is much lower and weaker. The tail is short. Of sense organs in wild boar is particularly acute hearing and sense of smell. Long stiff bristles that cover the body of a wild boar, dark brown in the winter and gray-brown in summer, forms a mane on the neck and along the spine. The undercoat is chestnut-brown and thick.
